These are some of the events that have taken place to help raise money and awareness for Neave’s Fund.

Darrell’s Sky Jump in Las Vegas – 10th May 2013Darrell Kelly raised £1,577 towards Neave’s sensory room with  a sponsored Sky Jump from the top of the Stratosphere Tower in Las Vegas on the 10th May 2013.The platform is 855ft high from the 108th floor of the Stratosphere Tower to a

The Sky Jump is a controlled decelerator descent.  Darrell will be in a jump suit and then connected to a guide wire keeping him on course to the landing mat.


Royal Fusiliers Band & Drums Norden High School – Saturday 18th MayRoyal Fusiliers Band Ticket DetailsNorden High School and the Rotary of Great Harwood & Rishton ahosted a charity fundraising concert at 7.30pm on Saturday 18th May 2013. They kindly offered to donate some of the money they raise to Neave’s Fund to help with the building of a sensory room for Neave at home.
Zoe’s Bupa Great Manchester Run – 26th May 2013 Zoe Fisher ran 10 kilometers in the Bupa Great Manchester Run to raise £200 for Neave’s Fund on Sunday the 26th May 2013.Zoe with her medal after raising £200 for Neave's Fund

Starting at Portland Street in the city centre the run goes past Old Trafford, down to Salford Quays and returned to the City Centre to finish on Deansgate.

On the 8th June Neave’s Dad, Jan, completed a tandem skydive to raise funds for her two favourite charities but there is just one little problem…Jan is afraid of heights!!

Jan raised £3,000 for Zoe’s Place and The Legacy Rainbow House, two charities that help and support Neave so much.


Robert & Alasdair’s Skye High Cycle – June 17th 2013Robert Worden and Alasdair Taylor have completed their Skye High Cycle on June 17th to Neave’s Fund.The cycle took place on Scotland’s beautiful Isle of Skye and raised a fantastic £568 towards helping beuild a sensory room at home for Neave.

Neave’s Fund Fundraising Dance – The Lurachs Centre, Maghera – Friday 2nd August 2013Neave’s Grandmother, Violet Philips organised a fundraising dance on Friday 2nd August 2013 at the Lurachs Centre in Maghera, Northern Ireland.

A huge success, the event has raised £2,000 towards Neave’s sensory room being built at home.

Abseil for Zoe’s Place – 3rd August 2013Both of Neave’s parents and a team of friendstook part in the Zoe’s Place abseil of 150 feet from the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral on Saturday 3rd of August.

Abseil Team Neaves FundThe team raised an impressive £1,000 for Zoe’s Place where Neave goes on holiday for a few nights every month to give her parents some respite.


Chris Avery’s 100 mile Manchester Cycle – 1st September 2013

Chris Avery cycled 100 miles on 1st September to raise £245 for Neave’s Fund to help build Neave a sensory room.

Starting at the National Cycling Centre in Manchester the ride takes you 100 miles through Knutsford, Northwich, Kelsall, Bunbury, Nantwich, Middlewich, Wilmslow returning back to the National Cycling Centre.


Whalley Juniors Family Funday – Sunday 1st September 2013


£320 was raised towards Neave’s sensory room with the Whalley Juniors Family Funday.

A Tombola, Raffle, Candy Floss stall and bouncy castles gave all the kids plenty to do and the Dad’s Vs Lads match finished with the Dad’s coming back from 2.0 down to win on penalties.

Challenge for The Legacy Rainbow House.  Covering 75km from point to point of the Isle of Man this was a gruelling off road challenge which was bitterly effected by the weather.
